TRUMPF's 55,800-sq.ft. Smart Factory in Connecticut expands local production of the high-tech fabricating equipment used by North American manufacturers to produce sheet metal parts. Designed by Barkow Leibinger, the bright, modern facility features advanced automated and connected manufacturing technology, including laser cutting, punching, bending and welding equipment, to produce new TRUMPF machinery. The Smart Factory is also open to the thousands of manufacturers who visit the Connecticut campus each year to see real-life applications of the innovative system and learn how to customize the technology for their own production needs.
